On almost every level, this is pure nonsense but the irony in this statement borders on the obscene.

In the letter, Ariel suggests taking the budget for neutering and spaying and instead using it to “transfer dogs and cats of a single gender (all the males or females) to a foreign country that is willing to accept them.”

In addition to Israel's prior position on denying citizenship to Sephardim and Mizrahim from North Africa, it also recalls the Jews' own search for a homeland following WWII.
