Bush's True Legacy

Sixty million people displaced, more than at any other time in history.

Why aren't Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld, Rice and Wolfowitz at The Hague?

They are all war criminals.

But I would not want them tried at the Hague, because they don't have a death penalty which is what these fuckers deserve.

The death penalty would be easier for them to endure than to spend the rest of their lives in prison, reviled by the rest of humanity and slowly going mad.

.....and slowly go mad?

Seems to me they have already been a bit off kilter considering the mess they got us into.

It would be nice if we could explain human nature so easily. These people aren't mad at all.

Yes.......

There is an old saying...... "Crazy like a fox". That always summed up my feelings about Cheney.

Going mad?

They were well into comicbookland long before they took office.

They're not mad, Dave, not a one of them. As I said to Barbara, we can't dismiss their behavior as the actions of madmen. What they did falls well inside the boundaries of "sane" behavior. Sociopaths they may be but sociopathy isn't the same as insanity. Hubristic as well but that isn't insanity either.
