He's not giving anything up. He knows that he doesn't have a chance of ever scoring again. I mean really - what woman would want a piece of that?

Regards,

D-Ray

So what explains the difference in public reaction/polling between Cain's and Newt's indiscretions?

1. The "black man doing our white women" effect.
2. That Newt's infidelity was old news.
3. That Cain's infidelity was "new" news, and unproven.
4. That Cain has no clue on foreign policy/no Washington experience.
5. All of the above.

I'm thinking all of the above.

For the majority of folks, it was 2, 3, & 4, but for some, I'm sure no. 1 kicked in. Something to add to that list is that Newt has owned up to his sins, and Cain's inconsistent denials made him appear dishonest. Personally, I had no interest in him before any of the allegations hit. I was kind of sorry to see him fall out of front-runner status, though, because he epitomized the farce that is the GOP field.

Regards

Dude......Chicks dig Money, Fame and/or Power. Newt has all three.

Look at Larry King......'nough said.
