Looks like it was the goon in the blue shirt with orange stripes. The protester thought so too.

I'm up late too John.

Who would think America in 2016 would be like this?

Depends. If it were 1970 it would be appalling, if it were 2010 it would be a surprise that it's not 10 time worse considering the vitriol spewed during the Obama campaign. I'm surprised there aren't more AK47's or bombs involved.

As for the violence, when Bush ran he confined protesters to cages, free speech zones he called them, so apparently things have gotten a little better.

But one has to wonder about the thinking of a person who would go into a pit of snakes holding a sign saying "kill the snakes". Kinda stupid if you ask me.

Brave actually. Trump is the one setting the tone and fanning the flames.

The right has spend decades denigrating, demonizing and dehumanizing anyone who doesn't think like they do. What we're seeing now is just the logical, predictable (and intended?) result. And we haven't yet seen the worst. The right has created very many people who would be very happy to see you and me dead. That's not an exaggeration.

The 'Pubs are stuck with an obvious megamoron and the most despised member of the Senate (re Lindsay Graham) defining their identity as the front running Presidential candidates. Who thought it could get worse than McCain /Palin.
