Here is where the major war in the Middle East is being fought

and it is not in the Middle East, it is in the oil fields of America.

OPEC, and by extension Saudi Arabia and Iran, have lost their price controls over the cost of crude oil sold to the US. US frackers have succeeded in surviving and achieving cost efficiencies that were totally beyond the box of conventional thinking. This is going to shoot the oil golden calf through both lungs and the heart.

20 years down the road when our water tables are poisoned I wonder who the frackers will blame.

Do they really believe toxic chemical water deep down unto the earth will not accept them?

Get ready for the water wars and water profiteers.....

Could be the main reason oil companies are buying water sources.

There is no question that fracking completely fucks up the aquifer. The Permian fracking is totally FUBAR, but we have a choice between nuclear and coal/gas for our energy supply.

Well, the majority of Americans want cheap gas, coal, and even cheaper natural gas, all while destroying our vast wealth of clean water, and both ignoring and driving out of market nuclear plants.

This is short sided at both ends, but big money oil is happy, so it doesn't hit the papers.

The term is short sighted which is what not making a commitment transitioning to clean renewables is.
