I agree with his mother...
"His mother, Barbara Bush, told C-Span in January that she hopes her son doesn't run. "If we can't find more than two or three families to run for high office, that's silly," she said. "I think that the Kennedys, Clintons, Bushes—there are just more families than that."

Ah, yes, the Bush baggage. Good point!

Absolutely! The current tenants of the GOP are utterly unacceptable. And for me, primarily the social aspects, as fiscally there's so little difference between the two parties as to make them virtually indistinguishable.
I find the moderate Republicans to be the most dangerous. They have a considerably better chance of gaining office, but they continue to drag along the exploitative and bigoted platform of the party along with them. I want darlings of the teabaggers running for every office.

You are exactly right.
They are wolves in sheep's clothing.

I found common ground in his immigration comments. But like others, I cannot get past the name. That name damaged this country in ways that may never be corrected.

Barbara Bush. She looks so sweet and blue-haired grandmotherly doesn't she? Of course, sooner or later the malevolence and vindictiveness comes oozing out of her festering piehole and the image of every guy's fantasy mom is cruelly crushed into dust.
PS - it's a glimpse into the future of Sarah Palin.

Very true.........
on an emotional level it would be hard to pull the lever for Bush with Hillary's last name staring right at you in the voting booth....and I would imagine many moderates and independents will feel the same way as I do.
Anyone one sick of the Clinton years?
Anyone think Monica was as bad as the Iraq war?
Hillary is gonna win brothers and sisters!
