Europa Report.

Sort of understated and not climatic enough...but a good film nonetheless.
Sort of a Cloverdale type where the video presents the story but much more milder...

I seldom watch movies. I just don't enjoy the whole suspension of disbelief thing necessary to watch most flicks.

That said, I saw a movie several weeks ago I really enjoyed. I don't recall the name but it appeared to be based on a comic book and made me feel like I was living in the art deco late 20's, early 30's in NYC, my favorite period.

I highly recommend it.

I too am affected by that, but what makes the difference for me is good dialog.

Hope you get better soon Bob!

I saw Europa Report a while back. Liked some of it but...

Watched 'Saving Mr Banks' the other day. What a good movie. Not what I expected and perhaps there's a little hope left for Disney after all.

Thanks Don, just a bad cold. I'll live, I have far too many wingnuts left to piss off.

The Motorcycle Diaries

Che Guevara and his friend Granado toured South America a year before he, Che, graduated as a medical doctor.
At first the tour was undertaken for youthful adventure, but then they became appalled by the crushing poverty they observed.

An excellent film.
