I was told in my youth that the reason we have two eyes, two ears and one mouth is that we should watch and listen twice as much as opine.

Well Finn,

I guess you would say that I was "flattering myself"
But I would look closely in the mirror, before I began placing labels on anyone.
Glass Houses and all that, you know.

But I am only trying to defend and explain myself.

I do admire those in the Tea Party, Americans Wanting Real Change, Demanding Real Change ! They may be the only Real Hope for America, the ounce silent majority rising up in disgust , at what we have all allowed to happen to America.

HaHaHaHaha, LOL,LOL,

Yes Zeke,

I have failed a few times in my life, but I pulled myself back up, and tried again.

Like they say, If it doesn't kill you, it will only make you stronger !

I know that you have never failed Zeke, Just as you have never succeeded, Your just to afraid to try.

But again, like they say, Where this is still life, there is hope.

Try?

I just don't find the need to abuse the less fortunate.

Kicking you around just isn't fun anymore, it's why we've all quit doing it.

Honestly, Bill. Do you contend that describing an entire area of political thought as one inhabited by parasites to be merely defending yourself? Do you think it was necessary to strike out at the beliefs of millions and millions of people in order to defend yourself. Think carefully before you answer. Your credibility might be at stake.

Regards,

D-Ray

Very funny "D",

When you have a group of healthy capable people, with the ability of providing for themselves, should they decide to work, but rather than making any attempt at providing for themselves, they demand sustenance from the productive members of society. The only example that I can find in nature that fits this example is a parasite. And anyone that wants to force me to support a parasite, with my money, against my will, a thief.

The Elderly, Infirmed, Disabled are not included in this group, as they have no control of their situations, and I am in full support of their receiving financial sustenance from the working, productive group of citizens.

And this is no defense, it is my opinion.

As for my attacking the beliefs of millions and millions of people, when there are over 7 Billion people in the world today, each with many beliefs. Makes having any discussion at all would probably attack the beliefs of millions and millions of people, somewhere.

But if your referring to a post I started, I asked, "Has anyone here looked into the total Historical Origins of your Religion ?". If that is an attack by your definition, and you felt attacked by it, than it must be an attack to you.

This question was posed by me to better understand how deeply others here have investigated the origins of their religions. It was a question that has intrigued me for many years, and I wondered if anyone here had discovered anything that I have not. Unfortunately no one here has researched religion as deeply as I have.

If any attacks occurred in this post, it was from those that do not believe, not me.

Credibility is a funny thing, when one agrees with someone, he is credible. When one disagrees with someone, he has no credibility. And often credibility is a changing commodity.
