Hey, some times we gotta do what we gotta do to keep ourselves fed. We're all whoring our souls out at one time or another so we can keep a meal in our belly.

Back when I was doing repos things around the country were good, and a lot of the people just didn't want to pay for what they wanted. Many would buy a car and skip town. I actually found skip tracing to be the most fun of the job... It's a challenge looking for someone that doesn't want to be found, and I found quite a few people.

If you buy something, pay for it. If you have bad luck, give it back. I found that most the people that had to give up their car because of a bad situation in their life didn't not fight the repo and would hand you the keys. There were a couple times I walked away and left them with the car and said we didn't find it. I felt bad taking the ones that were honest hard working people.

Most the people we did repos on were deadbeats and gaming the system. It was also surprising how many we found that were acquired through stolen identities.

The vast majority of people are honest. The system would collapse if they weren't.

I have a lot of faith in my fellow man.

Come out here for a visit and I can shoot that faith all to hell.

Just tonight on the way home when another cabbie shot past a long line of traffic for the exit I was on and tried to cut in front me... AGAIN!!!!!

He ran up one more car after I let him know NO WAY!!!!

Turned to my wife and told her that they need to change the law so we can legally shoot people like that who are providing no honest contribution to society.

The fare he had seemed to be shocked he was doing what he was, and seemed to agree that I felt the driver was #1

..|..

Seriously, come out for a visit and you'll see why I end up so irate. The shit gets old day after day. My commute will probably be the death of me one way or another, and that's why I don't ride the motorcycle in any more. I'd like to live as long as possible in this traffic.

I keep swearing I'm going to start flming my commute. Maybe it's time... WWW.ScummyDumbDriversOfDC.com

I'd be more worried about her sitting on me if I didn't hand them over.

Once one accepts the idea that the show is scripted then one can accept it for what it is......entertainment.

I wouldn't call it entertainment.. Entertainment is fun and enjoyable.. That's more like torture if you were made to watch it.
