No wonder America is going down the crapper...

Just saw my first ever episode of Operation Repo. It was like watching a bad car crash. This is entertainment? Glorifying these thugs who are JUST on the right side of the law. Some of the time anyway.

Who watches this garbage? Is America really so far gone that people enjoy seeing the suffering of others?

Not that I have seen many episodes of Dog, but I would say it was worse. Just a really disturbing program.

I guess is the tension in wondering if these thugs are going to get their assses kicked or worse.

The worst "reality" show ever. Yep, people believe it's real. I've watched some.

At one time I did repo, and the only thing I've seen on that show that is true is that someone will come get your car if you don't make the payments, and that most times people are pissed you are taking "their" car.

Beyond that, there is nothing real about it.

Did you do it in an area where the average Joe is legally armed?

Yes, it was in Illinois and Missouri. That's the reason I finally stopped. Had a few bad repos out in the middle of no where and decided it wasn't worth ending up dead for some extra cash.

I will say however, some times it was some of the most adrenaline filled moments in my life and hard to think about stopping. We'd always call the police to let them know we were in their area doing a repo, and some times they would ask us to wait until they could get into the area. Then to be able to "legally steal" a car with a cop watching from down the street... SWEET!!!!!

so what confuses you? Cops would be near by in case there was a confrontation of a repo.. and you are basically trying to take a car from someone without getting caught to avoid confrontation.. it's like stealing, only it's legal..
