Talk about spin. The ridiculous Nunes memo should have never been released. If the GOP members of the Intelligence Committee actually cared about FISA as they claim to, they would have discussed these issues a couple of weeks ago during FISA re-authorization (where they voted with Trump to support it) rather than use it as a red herring to provide cover for their Dear Leader in the Russia probe. Moreover, the secret issues would have been discussed in a bipartisan manner behind closed doors with the FBI and DOJ.

The Democrats (and the FBI and DOJ) did not support the release of the Nunes memo because it painted a contrived and distorted narrative harmful to the intelligence community and the nation's security. Releasing the Democratic memo (which, BTW, was reviewed by the FBI and DOJ for accuracy and classification purposes per prescribed procedure unlike Nunes' fiction) was forced upon the Democrats by the unsavory, dangerous and ridiculous effort of Nunes and his tinfoil hat conspirators.

Nunes' memo was written precisely for gullible partisans like you who get their news from Fox News, talk radio and far-right websites. Trump needs to keep his (ignorant) base fired up because if they abandon him, he's as good as impeached. If you read real news (and not the fake garbage you think is news), you'd know that the three major claims of the Nunes memo have all been fully discredited (the dossier was the primary driver for the FISA warrant, the dossier was the cause of the FBI's Russia inquiry, and the FISA judge wasn't told the dossier was the product of political actors).

Funny. Accuse me of "spin", and then weigh in with a healthy dose of Democrat talking points. Oh, yeah, the memo as released has set back the efforts of intel and security efforts drastically. NOT AT ALL. In fact, it singled out some individuals whose behavior may have been far more harmful than the Nunes memo.

I also suspect there's more to come on this. I don't think we've heard the fully story yet about how the Obama DOJ was politicized.

More spin. I know you fervently believe all this tripe, since you've sounded like a broken record for a very long time. So sad.

You’re such a Donny lapdog, lol.

Really interesting story on the local NPR station regarding Nunes. Lots of backstory there that hasn’t yet hit the national news. History of conspiracy beliefs, and questionable water rights wrangling.

If'n the rumor I heard is true, there's a big kerfuffle coming over ol' pigeon chest Schiff's fiction. What I heard, an I ain't sayin' its true yet, is sneaky assed Schiff stuck abunch of methods and means in there so the WH would have to redact, which would give Schiff and company the narrative they need to claim they was censored. If it's true, it's gonna be damn hard to feel good about our guvment.

For a short analysis of accomplishments by the party of Family Values, Fiscal Responsibility, Law and order and Small Government. Then there is the three G's, God Guns and Gays and will get to that next.

Family Values morphed into Pussy Grabbing by electing The Dotard and pretty soon GOP Congress critters began to drop off like flies.

Law and Order, ask Comey, Mueller, Rosenstein, McCabe, Wray, Sessions et. al.
Law and Order is now enemy of the people and Democracy. One cannot make up shit like this yet Trump dumps on the Constitution at every step.

Fiscal Responsibility, how about a $1.5 Tax cut couched as tax reform, a windfall for the corporations and the rich? And now the deficits are taking it out on the markets. Yes it's a correction but I call it a long term adjustment. And we will soon be on CR5 and many more to come. September is just seven months away, end of another fiscal milestone.

Small Government, very successful since very few want to work for the dynamic duo of Trump and Pence. Heck, it's now approaching no government, no budget,. Just chaos.

Doing well with the 3G's, Brownback assigned to taking care of the God part, Guns...well nothing can be done and the Gays, relegated to second class.
