The ignore list does not make actually sense to me. The thread of thoughts of a topic may be corrupted, at least to some extent. In addition to that, Don, you may see posts of people on your ignore list anyway, if they are quoted.

It is like a handbrake to me so I don't flame too much.

I don't like emojis so my posts are sometimes interpreted as snarks when I am just being witty.

It is hard being the smartest person in PC sometimes.

Sometimes, IMO, the ignore button is used as an offensive gesture as opposed to a defensive maneuver.

See--I look at your posts sometimes, and even click on your youtubes, sometimes. Still, I do think the ignore status is an appropriate response to your project in general, and the 8-in-a-row bit really pointed that up.

My usual pattern has been not to be return nasty for nasty. It just gets yet more nasty out there. But that runs the risk of sort of implicitly saying nasty isn't so bad, and of even being a doormat for it. Look, you basically come here to be an aggressive prick, and that is not OK.

Posting a cute silly song does not make it OK.
