Oh you're right, the property destroyed is probably not the property of a murderer. But neither are the persons killed people who were destroying property. AND IN THE FIRST INSTANCE, the man shot seven times in the back by an officer of the law did not deserve to suffer such atrocious injury.
The meme is not a legal brief. No judge would accept such reasoning. Its actually an attempt to communicate to you, a plea for empathy from you. There is a role for legal reasoning, and there is a role for feeling.
