I don't think there is anything to gain by boycotting his music. Who listens to him anymore.................... seriously.
My daughter gave me his CD set as a gift several years back (she was in college and used to be a Republican then ), I am yet to play a single CD from that set.

These kids have 'no soul' to blame the NRA?
One needs to lose your soul to support the NRA.

To the young he is their Grandparents music........

I happen to meet the guy years ago, shook his hand too! In the late 80's IIRC when he was getting the sporting gear going. Was on the ramp on the flightline when he was getting off a plane. Babe in tow and his catalogs to hand out.

Was very nice and friendly would not believe it now.........

"Bank of America will stop lending to gun manufacturers that make "military-style firearms" for civilians, the bank's vice chair announced in an interview Tuesday.
"We have let them know that we are going to, it's not our intent to underwrite or finance military-style firearms in a go-forward basis," Anne Finucane, vice chair for Bank of America, told Bloomberg.
The decision was in direct response to a number of high-profile mass shootings across the country, most recently at a Parkland, Florida, high school that left 17 people dead in February.
"We want to contribute in any way we can to reduce these mass shootings," Finucane said.
The decision from Bank of America, the US's second-biggest bank, came after the company announced in February it would ask gunmakers how they could help end mass shootings." Buzzfeed

How Vermont’s NRA A-rated governor was ‘shocked’ into backing new gun laws

Quote:
Surrounded by gun-control opponents heckling him outside the Vermont State House on Wednesday, Gov. Phil Scott (R) signed into law the most restrictive gun-control measures in the state’s history.

While some had come to thank him, Scott knew that many there who voted for him based in part on his A-grade rating from the NRA were “disappointed and angry” with him, he said.
Quote:
“I know these discussions have been difficult, emotional and complex — barriers that frequently lead to inaction,” he told the divided crowd. “But this is not the time to do what’s easy. It’s the time to do what’s right.”

"When Dick’s Sporting Goods said it would no longer sell modern sporting rifles at its Field & Stream stores following the Valentine’s Day shooting at a Parkland, Fla., high school, one question was what would happen to the unsold firearms in its inventory.
Typically a retailer may return unsold merchandise to the manufacturer. But in this case, Dick’s Sporting Goods has decided to destroy them.
“We are in the process of destroying all firearms and accessories that are no longer for sale as a result of our February 28th policy change,” a spokeswoman told the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. “We are destroying the firearms in accordance with federal guidelines and regulations.”
The so-called assault-style rifles will be destroyed at the company’s distribution centers and the parts sent to a salvage company to be recycled, the Findlay-based retailer added. The company did not say how much merchandise would be included." PPG

That's called putting your money where your mouth is.

Not actually a school shooting...

... a three years old girl shoots her pregnant mother in Indiana.

We should consider this as a tragic accident. But the owner of the rifle, the father, is obviously a brilliant moron.

I read about that yesterday. They charged the father with negligence or something like that.
