I'm coming up empty in my search for any previous relevant experience that would have prepared him to serve in the U.S. Senate.

It will be interesting to see how someone untainted by previous political 'experience' handles being a Senator. Never could wrap my mind around how political affiliation is noted for everything from dog catcher or school board on up. I guess it is because I grew up in a parliamentary system.

That is a pet peeve of mine. Why is everyone a liberal or a con?
It's as if there are no Americans anymore.
