Voted this morning
I kind of had to seeing how my wife was on the ballot for Republican committee women for our district. Voted for for Moran and Kobach too.

That's nice and I respect her/you for that even if I didn't agree with her positions.
But I was wondering, any of them there colloards running against her?

Clored folks? We don't have them in Kansas much. I guess she won, she was all excited and ran off to some party. I stayed home and slung solder.

I attended the popularity contest as well.
Was even honest and pulled a Republican ballot. Goes against my "Vote again' the bastards twice" mentality, but I had to vote for the bricklayer I know for County Treasurer...I gave him my word.
14 people running for treasurer on both ballots. In the general, I'll have to go with my old buddy, a Donk, if he makes the cut.
Loyalty supersedes politics, at least on the local level in Bugtussell.

Jay, tell the missus that, now that I know someone in power, I know who to call to get things straightened out. Obviously she didn't have you in any of the campaign ads. Out of the five of ya, you come in fifth in looks, but you could solder rings around all of them.
P.S. Tell her congrats for me too.
Regards,
D-Ray

Eh, it's not a big deal, and doesn't come with any power at all, but she says "It's a start". If I know Suzi (and I do), she could end up president. I've never seen a harder working woman in my life. She did her 2 year Master of Theater at ASU in just under one year with a 4.0 and on the Deans list and an invitation to one of those Kappa deals for fart smellers. If she makes up her mind to do something, she flat ass does it. She outshoots me with a rifle so bad it ain 't even funny. I've seen her tear one hole at 100yards with 5 shots. She shoots a little 270 Ruger, and has killed more deer than me two years running now. She's a dandy and I'd be a lost soul without her.
