Back on topic. After railing against "crooked" Hillary Trump is going squeaky clean by giving his kids security clearances. That will mesh great so that when they are in the White House all day learning secrets they can better run Daddy's "blind" trust at night.

'Trump Staff Shake-Up Slows Transition to Near Halt'
"WASHINGTON — President-elect Donald J. Trump’s transition operation plunged into disarray on Tuesday with the abrupt resignation of Mike Rogers, who had handled national security matters, the second shake-up in a week on a team that has not yet begun to execute the daunting task of taking over the government.
In a statement on Tuesday, Mr. Rogers, a former congressman from Michigan who led the House Intelligence Committee, said that he was “proud of the team that we assembled at Trump for America to produce meaningful policy, personnel and agency action guidance on the complex national security challenges facing our great country,” and that he was “pleased to hand off our work” to a new transition team led by Vice President-elect Mike Pence.
Mr. Pence took the helm of the effort on Friday after Mr. Trump unceremoniously removed Gov. Chris Christie of New Jersey, who had been preparing with Obama administration officials for months to put the complex transition process into motion. Now the effort is frozen, senior White House officials say, because Mr. Pence has yet to sign legally required paperwork to allow his team to begin collaborating with President Obama’s aides on the handover." NY Times
It's looking more and more like amateur hour with Trump's first faltering steps to try and get his team up and running. Jesus on a pogo stick...mangy feckers caught the tires of Fed Ex delivery van and now they're wrapped around the axle.

Now, it seems Rudy is backing away from his desires for Secretary of State due to unsavory connections with Venezuela and Qatar. Meanwhile, McCain is now objecting to Trump sucking up to Putin.

Wash Post opinion writer Paul Waldman on Steve Bannon:
Quote:
There has been way too much euphemizing about Bannon, so let’s talk plainly. He’s not just a “controversial” figure who ran a “provocative” web site. He is one of the foremost drivers of the spread of white nationalism in the United States today, and Breitbart is a firehose of thinly veiled racism and anti-Semitism, spewing its endless supply of poison into our politics.
“We’re the platform for the alt-right,” Bannon told journalist Sarah Posner this year. In the words of Ben Shapiro, a former editor for Breitbart, the alt-right is “a movement shot through with racism and anti-Semitism.” Bannon disagrees — sort of. “Are there anti-Semitic people involved in the alt-right? Absolutely. Are there racist people involved in the alt-right? Absolutely,” he told Posner. “But I don’t believe that the movement overall is anti-Semitic.”

Looks like Trump's BFF Putin is going be in hot water with the Senate.
Sen. Graham R-S.C. is calling for a congressional investigation into Russia's hacking of the DNC.
"Here's what I would tell Republicans: We cannot sit on the sidelines as a party and let allegations****against a foreign government interfering in our election process go unanswered because it may have been beneficial to our cause," Graham added." LA Times

Quit your job to work for Trump, have a 50 50 chance of being fired? No thanks lol.
The Congressional Budget Office has released its latest estimates for the financial cost should Congress repeal the Affordable Care Act—and it wasn’t what many Republicans were hoping for.
Repealing Obamacare would add as much as $353 billion to the U.S. budget deficit through 2025, the non-partisan CBO found. When taking into account the economic effects of future policy changes — what’s called “dynamic scoring” — the deficit inflation would be closer to $137 billion.
