It's not so much that he's ignorant. Or foolish. He may be both of those things, but it's hard to tell, because ACTING in ways that seem ignorant and foolish to us makes sense for him. He may or may not know that Trump is truly a lying authoritarian pig, and the greatest internal danger this democracy has ever faced. I can't tell. Because if he knows it, he'll never admit it. That would sabotage his personal fight, which is all that actually matters to him.
