Statues of Confederate generals come down in Charlottesville, Virginia
The statues of Gens. Robert E. Lee and Stonewall Jackson were taken down Saturday, nearly four years after white supremacist and neo-Nazi groups stormed the Virginia college town to protect it.

There needs to be something commemorating the murdered Heather Heyer in their place.

A statue of Heather and General Tecumseh Sherman hugging would be nice.

Just curious, were any of these upstanding individuals among the "slavery was 150 years ago so they should get over it" crowd ?

I've often wondered if Lincoln erred in not letting Gen. Sherman continue his march up through South Carolina all the way to Richmond.

Richmond/Petersburg got their due in the Civil War. BTW, anybody spent any time in Richmond in recent years? Very nice town with great historical sights, excellent art museum, lots to do, good food and bunches of good breweries. I'm a big fan of this city that most people bypass on their way to somewhere else on I-95.

This is Teddy Joseph Von Nukem, who we saw in a number of pictures of the marching brownpants Nazis at Charlottesville. Must report his demise, reportedly suicide, just before his trial for dealing fentanyl was to begin.
He may have taken Trumps call for the death penalty for drug dealers as an order....

"Von Nukem" obviously not his actual name, "von"= of, auf deutch, is never capitalized.
