That's about the size of it.

Yep. That's why he released so much dirt on Trump via Wikileaks. No....wait.
Comrade Dondilion's post asserted that Soros, Putin's dreaded enemy, wanted to undermine Putin via Hillary's presidency, not that Putin favored Hillary. You read his post exactly wrong and then agreed with it, despite him making the opposite argument of you. You jumped on his post like a schoolboy because he demonized Soros, a Democrat that talk radio and Fox love to hate, not because you agreed with or even understood his point, only because Limbaugh/Hannity have conditioned you to hate Soros (though you have no clue what he stands for).

The Dems need the "comprising info" story to be true to perpetuate the "Putin favors Trump" lie to appear true. And give whiney Dems who choose to skip tne inauguration ceremony some political cover.

I think you must now get your news full time from InfoWars. Nothing you said above is remotely close to being true. If Putin favored Hillary, he sure had a funny way to show it. I understand that it must be uncomfortable to have supported a vain-glorious buffoon, only to find out that his victory had an able assist from Mother Russia, the country that his party believes is America's greatest geopolitical foe. The resulting cognitive dissonance has you spewing all sorts of idiotic nonsense.

And your great big bogeyman, Soros, has nothing to do with it (other than being able to recognize Putin for what he is, something you seem unable to do, tovarich).

... or a realist.
A US counterintelligence task force was established by the CIA in 2016 to investigate possible Russian funding of President-elect Donald Trump's presidential campaign, the BBC reported on Friday.
The task force included the FBI, the Treasury and Justice Departments, the CIA, the Office of the Director of National Intelligence, and the National Security Agency (NSA).
It was set up after the director of the CIA, John Brennan, received a recording of a conversation about money from the Kremlin going into Trump's campaign coffers, the BBC's Paul Wood reported. The recording was passed to him by the intelligence agency of one of the Baltic States, according to the BBC.

They aren't necessarily mutually exclusive.

I think this was ironic humor and you read it wrong. But Dondilion can confirm.

Alex Jones, the conspiracy-loving media personality, apologized Friday for his role in promoting “Pizzagate,” the baseless viral story that a Washington pizza restaurant was the locale of a child sex-abuse ring run by Hillary Clinton and her campaign chairman, John Podesta.
In a surprising and rare bit of backtracking, Jones posted a six-minute video on his website, “InfoWars,” in which he read a prepared statement formally distancing himself and his site from what became a textbook story of fake news run amok. He addressed his apology to James Alefantis, the owner of Comet Ping Pong, the restaurant that was the supposed locale of the alleged conspiracy last year.
“I made comments about Mr. Alefantis that in hindsight I regret, and for which I apologize to him,” Jones said. “We relied on third-party accounts of alleged activities and conduct at the restaurant. We also relied on accounts of [two] reporters who are no longer with us.”
Meanwhile, a North Carolina man who commandeered a Washington pizza restaurant with an assault-style rifle in December pleaded guilty Friday to weapons and assault charges in a deal with U.S. prosecutors.
Between this and TrumpCare going down in flames, true Trump believers can't catch a break.
