Jackson Brown- Hell if I could tell which one . I was in an MRI machine for a half hour, I should've requested Led Zepplin 2. My ears felt like I just walked out of a Led Zep concert afterwards. Extremely loud & close
Time for some Pink Floyd- Wish You Were Here

John Mayall - USA Union. Interesting project. He used no drums and relied on bass and piano to provide the beat.

Donald Byrd/Pepper Adams. These two sync well on a number of albums.
While Donald Byrd was the headliner, Pepper added special flavor of bark and growl with his baritone sax.
Albums:
Royal Flush
Off to the Races
Cat Walk

Today's listening pleasure:
Cowboy Junkies Black Eyed Man 1992
The Flying Burrito Brothers The Gilded Palace of Sin 1969
Ennio Morricone The Very Best of Ennio Morricone 2004
And one not so popular:
Yvonne Elliman S/T 1971
And one from my platform shoes and polyester junior HS days:
Ohio Players Skin Tight 1974

Next up;
Al DiMeola, Paco De Lucia and John McLaughlin- "Friday Night in San Francisco"
Columbia Half Speed Mastered on 180 gram vinyl.
Bought that one brand new in 1980. It cost me a weeks worth of lawn mowing money.
Reorded it to tape on the first play and again about five yers later on a better system. I've only spun the Lp maybe ten times since then.

Great guitar work there.
Some great piano work in:
Keith Jarrett, Koln Concert.
Used it to test an Allied Model 395 that I just finished giving a Deoxit bath.
Regards,
D-Ray

Picked up a copy of Elegant Gypsy Suite not too long ago. Man, it brought back some good memories.
Was that album recorded at Berkley? I saw them play the outdoor venue at U.C. some years back when I was visiting up there. It was a magical evening.

At work I listened to:
For Emma, Forever Ago by Bon Iver
self titled by Bon Iver
Like A Man by Adam Cohen
Tron Legacy Reconfigured (remixed), various artists
Hurry Up, We're Dreaming by M83.
Pretty typical line-up if I don't go on a folk/indie-folk kick.
