'Sporting and competitive use' means toys. The downside is these toys can cause tremendous mayhem in the hands of the murderous. I'm sure people resent losing their hobby equipment but given the danger represented by these items it is not worth it to society to indulge these passtimes.

Guess we should give up baseball bats,knives ,cars.
