Dyno Don was running chevy till 63 and chevy pulled out of racing then. Don came to Mercury in 64 and got Ronny Sox to join as well. Mercury used to have red,white and blue cars in nascar so Sox had them paint his AFX Comet like that. That was the start of Sox alway running those colors.

Here a shot of my project if time allows. Needs brake lines tires and a battery before anything else gets done. The tires are the hard ones to find, I like Michelin XZX 165's and can't find any that have been produced in the last five years last checked.

But I have been told by the boss a rental needs to be painted before it gets to hot. Loads of fun!
