From memory the only dramatic price increase I can recall is the price for a cup of coffee.
$0.10 per cup, Illinois Central Station in 1969
I compared that with a cup of coffee I get now at a Pilot Truck Stop, $1.50
So that's 15X in 45 years.
During that time the minimum wage has only gone up by 5X or so.
