WTF? People can't voluntarily get on a street-legal vehicle and be driven by a licensed driver to a public place to which they wish to go? In a free country?

Maybe the Federal Government could do something about this shit--pass a 'Voting Rights Act' or something.

Excellent question.

Another example is this: Republicans see government protecting the right to organize and call it "meddling" or "overreach". Government passing and enforcing regulation designed to impede organizing efforts is called "good governance".

It was a conservative majority SCOTUS that gave us "Citizens United"......

No, no plutocratic ass kissing to be seen here.

This is all part of why I had to leave Kansas. The voting process in Kansas has been corrupted. The entire process is controlled by the republican party, and by republican party I mean Brownback. He and his cronies are nothing but the mob in a pretty tie. Your vote does not count in Kansas, it don't matter who you are or in what numbers you vote.

Kansas is stagnating and dying. Look at it's economic numbers. It's become just another tinpot dictatorship.
