Susan DeLemus was elected in 2010 as a Republican to the state House of Representatives. In 2011, she was one of the state lawmakers who fought to keep Obama’s name off state ballots because they believed he was a “treasonous liar” who wasn’t born in the States, according to the Atlantic.
“It just makes me want to throw up,” Rep. Susan DeLemus had said at the time. “Let’s just bury the Constitution now and have a funeral.”

And that's not the best part. Read the article.

Politician? I gave her too much credit.
But I knew it was too glib a rant. She had to be a ringer of some kind....

For those who didn't read the article in the link, not only is she a politician but a "birther" who tried to get President Obama removed from the New Hampshire ballot for 2012.
Also, her husband is one of the crazies who occupied the Bundy Ranch and has run for sheriff in his NH community.
What might be the best thing is the fact that CNN has used the DeLemuses on panels before without mentioning their political connections.

CNN should fire someone for that. Or else they are the new FOX.

NYT on Ted Cruz Fitness For The Presidency
http://www.nytimes.com/2015/12/12/op...one-share&_r=1
Quoted from the above link:
"Ted Cruz, a man who thinks he’s qualified to be commander in chief, decries terrorists’ taking of innocent lives while agitating for bombing that would kill thousands of noncombatants and radicalize thousands more. What he’s saying shows an utter lack of fitness to command America’s armed forces."

Desparation in the GOP
http://news.yahoo.com/looking-idea-t...115611627.html
Quote:
This weekend, veteran political journalist Jeff Greenfield said that some GOP insiders are theorizing about a third-party candidate to oppose Donald Trump, if he wins the Republican nomination. By any means, that scenario is complicated but with some precedent.
Greenfield has covered politics for three TV networks and written 13 books. Writing for Politico magazine, Greenfield talked about his discussions with GOP operatives about how some party leaders would react to a potential Trump nomination in Cleveland this summer, which would potentially deeply divide the Republican Party.
“It would be a fissure so deep that, if the operatives I talked with are right, a Donald Trump running as a Republican could well face a third-party run—from the Republicans themselves,”

As a make-sure-Trump-gets-clobbered move, it would likely be effective! As well as fun-to-watch....
