So you seriously advocate a split in the country just like pre Civil war?

I would think this approach will have similar results.

Damn you, Dog Man, you're fixin' on startin' a Civil War. Pickin' the ASA in preference to the AARP.

Them's fightin" words!!!

How's that go, a week ago I couldn't spell "surbrisive", and now I are one.

Damn troublemaker,

Chas

This is a real hoot, seems to me it was under tha last administration that warrantless searches were conducted, or telephones tapped illegally.

Whatever, I swore that oath back in 1992, something many who were born here have yet to do.

Here is a thought for the day; maybe instead of too much government we may have too little. So where was this over abundance of government when Wall Street and the bankers were selling bad paper? It seems that it is a criminal offense if you rob someone at gunpoint, but it is rewarded with bonuses if you rob them with phony paper.

This web site is nonpartisan as we are. IMHO It's not a question of who did what to whom. But instead keeping our American Constitution our Founding Fathers set forth these two hundred years as healthy as it was back then.

You are wrong...every enlisted soldier then and NOW continues to take an oath to support our Constitution.

We lost more than half of our life's savings in the stock market and pulled out. At our age we will not live long enough to see a recovery. But as long as we have eachother...we will make do.

By the way...my hubby is a Korean vet and our oldest son served four years in the service. Their oath to our country still exists.

Your posts are quite telling as to where your heart lays. It must be very difficult for you.

There are many posts in this forum by people who claim that they are "more American" than the next guy because they have the "one true" belief on politics. Then when asked for specifics as to how they formulate their views they have no response, just an implied blind belief as with religion.

Where does this arrogance come from?
Why when responded to in kind do they implode and become accusatory and feel victimized?

Debate is good, sharing views is good.

Having the one true unquestionable/unexplainable view is only divisive.

IMHO of course.
