How do you interpret that as cheering for the disease?
There is a general question about the speed of the development and rollout of the vaccines.
There was harsh criticism of Sputnik V for its speed and rightly so.
But then right behind Sputnik V the others follow. Therefore the question of speed is applicable to all. But lo and behold Sputnik V was given the green light when its assessment was published in top British peered review medical journal...
The Lancet.
As to cheering for the disease. I have a brother who barely survived. He lives in the same house as my 101 year old mom. She has been exposed to him for some time but luckily she has been negative and has not shown any symptoms.
I have a daughter who works in a major hospital as an RN nurse. She is on the frontline.
