The boy just can't win.....
""Kyle Rittenhouse draws protest, praise and a student sit-in at Western Kentucky University""
""He stormed out of a forum last week at the University of Memphis after being met by hundreds of protesters, a little more than a month after he spoke at East Tennessee State. And it was a similar scene in Bowling Green, on a day that began with a student sit-in at WKU's administrative office and ended with chants and cheers among two groups of activists following Rittenhouse's speech at the Downing Student Union.""

New York Attorney General Letitia James announced today that right-wing operatives and conspiracy theorists Jacob Wohl and Jack Berkman have agreed to pay up to $1.25 in fines as part of a settlement with her office after their 2020 voter suppression scheme targeting black voters.

$1.25M perchance? How nice for them that being an 'operative' has paid off enough that the court can try a fine like that.

The "Lions Not Sheep" apparel company was fined more than $200,000 for cutting labels that said items were made in China and stamping them "Made in USA."
Lions Not Sheep is a Utah-based clothing company launched in 2016 that makes stridently pro-America, pro-gun, pro-Trump shirts, hats and apparel.

Investment firms led by the former CEO of the SPAC that merged with Donald Trump’s media company allege that their files were hacked and stolen by a current member of the media company’s board of directors.
In a federal civil lawsuit filed in South Florida last month, the firms accuse board member Eric Swider of plotting a coup in early 2023 to replace Patrick Orlando as CEO of the special purpose acquisition company, Digital World Acquisition Corp.
As part of that attempted ouster, Swider and others allegedly “stole access” to the firms’ computer systems and then “used the stolen information to attack” Orlando, according to the lawsuit...
he Florida lawsuit is just one in a series of messy and dramatic legal disputes that have come to define Trump Media’s rocky road to an IPO, and its equally turbulent first weeks as a public company.
DWAC in July settled fraud charges with the Securities and Exchange Commission, though the agency found the SPAC had submitted “materially false and misleading” filings.
Trump Media in late March sued its co-founders over alleged mismanagement of the merger, and is seeking to bar them from owning the company’s stock.
Those co-founders have sued Trump Media in Delaware Chancery Court over their stake in the company.
Critics, meanwhile, have labeled the company a meme stock and a “scam.” They point to the company’s reported net loss of $58.2 million on revenue of just $4.1 million in 2023.

This is truly a good inside look at Trump's business dealings where lawsuits are the norm. Simply astounding that the SEC ever allowed this merger to go through after having blocked it for a couple of years and only fining them a measly $18M for financial irregularities. Now the cat is out of the bag, stock is worthless and heavily shorted, and there will be no $4Billion payday for Trump without significant outside funding, aka money laundering. Note the IPO only raised $300M in new money with Trump owning potentially 75% of the shares which he cannot cash in for 6 months w/o board approval. If he gets it and starts selling, the stock will be worth pennies since in the past year, $50M+ losses, $4M revenues.
