RIP Earl Scruggs

The man that the banjo was invented for.

I had the pleasure of seeing the Earl Scruggs Review live. We were a little distracted though looking for my roomates sister who was going to meet us there. We found her when we saw her crawling up the front of the stage topless holding a Southern Comfort bottle in one hand. Those were the days.

Thanks Earl and Loudin Wainright (the songwriter and singer of this tune) for the memories.

For you Scruggs fans:

Not a weak cut on the whole CD. Incredible sound quality for a live album.

RIP Earl Scruggs

Also, I hope George Jones is recovering ok. I'm sure at age 80, it isn't easy to recover from a hospital stay. I hope to see him reach 100.
