Understood, he is not your buddy then.
Now legally the NFL players have no right to express their collective feelings at the game since they are employees of their team, but the fact remains that their management officially have come out in support of their stance. DT has no right to question the NFL management's stance on this nor interfere with their non-decision or for that matter interfere in their 'private enterprise'.

More Trump red meat for his idiot base:
"Courageous Patriots have fought and died for our great American Flag --- we MUST honor and respect it! MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!"
Um, Donny, you are a cowardly draft dodger. You DIDN'T fight for the flag or anything else! You had "bone spurs", though you couldn't remember in which foot. Coward. Ass. Idiot. Liar. Cheat. National disgrace!

They have far more principle than your idiotic Trumpenfuhrer. You still are unwilling to admit that you've been conned by the biggest charlatan American politics has ever seen.

They do go out of their way to help their communities. Here is an example:
J.J. Watt Ends Harvey Relief Fundraiser After Raising More Than $37 Million
Not all by himself but he got a lot of help from the area athletes.

... and another.
Philadelphia Eagles defensive end Chris Long watched Charlottesville, Virginia -- his home town -- get plunged into turmoil in August when white supremacists took to the streets in protest and violence erupted. A car attack left one woman dead and 19 injured. Now, Long and his wife are trying to do something about it. Long has pledged his first six 2017 game checks to provide two students with a seven-year paid education program in Charlottesville. The scholarships will be for Long's alma mater, St. Anne's Belfield School.
