Been researching this. Load of crap. I believe he was killed by Marcos.

I think I remember this from when it happened. Aquino was killed as he disembarked from a plane. He was shot at close range. The film was shown widely on US TV.
As I remember there was never any question that Marcos and not communists was behind it. That belief on the part of the Philippines people was instrumental in overthrowing the Marcos regime. I suppose the CIA could have set it up for Marcos but I doubt it. His people were perfectly capable of such a crude assassination. John
