Yes, the news that the military had tracked that radical course change came late. I figure they raised alarms as soon as the deviation was observed, and things happened after that.

I will not offer further specualtion.

I am saddened by the loss of life.

When the Chinese report came out I though just how could they have kept this quiet for so long. The thought of people maybe alive a drift waiting all this time. But now is seems to be anyone's guess as to what when where how on this terrible tragedy.

I've heard reports that the plane continued flying for hours after they lost contact.

One expert says that's impossible, the next expert says it could have happened. Nobody really knows...

I'm beginning to think that the idea of aliens abducting the plane isn't so far fetched. 👽

Ya Barbara,

The Rolls Royce engine has a computer in it sending information back to the factory. They said the engine was running for 5 hours which is 4 hour longer than they tracked the transponder. The plane could of been flying 2500 miles in that time frame.

I think it was highjacked now but would have needed help from a country to land. Or a pilot that could fly it under radar and have a big enough landing strip somewhere.

I heard on the news this AM that the transponder needs turned off while the plane is on the ground, and sometimes needs switched on and off to reset.

Most airliners have what is called the Squat Switch that is used to turn things off that are only needed while airborne.
