My apologies, then. BaconBits.

What is the back story to that name, Bacon Shorts, anyways? It has some reference to something, right? So far I've eliminated that you short porkbelly futures.

and no I'm not asking for your AK name so I could stalk you, as if I ever would. Sheesh. Keep it secret, no big deal. Really.

Freakin' cannon! Looks like a Citori too. That yours? That barrel looks like it's more than a yard long... literally. Lotta mass ahead of the forearm.

Nope, not mine. Just a shot from Google images. Most of the pics there show porting on both sides of the upper barrel. I don't know how this jibes with the picture of Obama shooting. Maybe Pat has some insight.

(I thing the reason the barrel looks so long in the picture I supplied has to do with camera angle and lens.)

There used to be really long goose guns, "Long Toms" 36 or 42 inch barrels. Supposed to give you more "swing". Definitely more velocity.

The diagonal porting will reduce both recoil and barrel jump. Porting sure does make a gun louder though to those off to the sides of the shooter.

Have you any thoughts about what we see in the picture of the President shooting?
