Now, now boys. When I said ignore the Iranian sabre rattling I certainly wasn't advocating sitting on our hands. The life expectancy of a nuclear weapons scientist is very short nowadays as I'm sure you all have noticed.
My recommendation was to ignore the bluff and bluster. Closing the straits won't be happening until the fields run dry, that's a given.
Equating the Islamic Revolving Republic of Iran with the Soviet Union is pretty facetious in my book. Not in the same league IMO but where's the great
proletariat now any way? Brighton Beach last I heard.

many solid, sensible points have been made in this thread, but, such realistic and level headed thinking is lost on the crowd that proudly wears Glen Beck Underoos.
