You can have all the "base" you want. If you can't get your base out to vote, you got problems. Money is still the mother's milk of politics, and the Repubs are currently out-collecting and out-spending the Dems.

I believe that Ohio will be one of those states that could go either way depending on the news within the last week to 10 days running up to November 6.

Factor in polling data, which has been flat or in decline for the Prez, and I think the Dems a bit concerned.

Is Mitt already blaming Obama for the failures of his potential term in office?

It would be par for the course
Ohio is still very much in play I believe. Cleveland proper and most of the inner ring suburbs are his for granted, but turnout is an issue.
I've mentioned the former for-sure coal farmers in his only base outside of the old rust belt areas are pissed at him. Also Kasich has been working very hard there and I believe making an impression. But will they vote for a 'cultist rich guy'? Who knows.
If the freaks start showing up at my door daily I think I'll start answering with a shotgun
And as John mentioned we can always just make the machines turn every Obama vote into two Mitty votes lol.

If you begin to see clean cut young men wearing white dress shirts, black chinos and backpacks roaming your neighborhood and distributing Romney campaign literature, you'd better get your rapture-ready underwear out of mothballs.

so, you believe that the size of government now is OK? Was it OK before Obamacare passed muster with SCOTUS? Will it still be the right size, even after the dozens of entities created by PPACA come on line?

Three guesses what, or rather who, all that GOP money is buying. It is all coming from corporations and when was the last time you saw a corporation being run like a democracy. I rather think it is not only dems who should be worried, but every thinking American voter.
