Earlier today, my two favorite Fleetwood Mac albums:
Then Play On
Kiln House
No interest in Buckingham/Nicks Fleetwood Mac, however.

Jimi Hendrix - Are You Experienced?
Beatles - Revolver
Cake - Prolonging the Magic
John McLaughlin - Time Remembered
Jethro Tull - Living in the Past
Mark Knopfler - Kill to Get Crimson (the source of one of the better-written lines - "punish the monkey and let the organ grinder go free.")
Regards,
D-Ray

Jethro Tull - Thick as a Brick
Frank Zappa - Apostrophe
Last night, I had just finished fixing a pair of old KOSS HV/1 headphones that I had picked up for free off of Craigslist, and Apostrophe provided a good test of their capabilities. And their capabilities are pretty impressive. They are designed to have a frequency response of 15 hz to 30k hz. At the time they were made - the early 70s - their open back was a revolutionary design. They are considerably lighter than my old Koss Pro 4A.
I'm thinking my first foray into tubes might be a headphone amp.
Regards,
D-Ray

Everyone is telling me Bottlehead Crack, if you're thinking DIY. It's a simple build and cheap at ~$200.
If you don't want to do DIY, have a look at, and I hate to say it, 'cuz they're Chinese....But Little Dot makes awesome 'phone amps for little scratch. Could prolly pick one up, used, off of ebay for less than $100.
I think Chas runs a Little Dot.
