In that the GOP foreign policy brain trust is dead-set against the treaty, it must be a good idea. Pissing Bibi off is icing on the cake.

Enough to bring Bibi out of the nuclear closet and threaten Iran?

Wounder if Iran would even be wanting a bomb if the Israelis had not built them????

But then again here in the US some believe every one needs a gun or two, three, it's our right ya know! Little to no oversight in reality. But give sovereign country wanting a nuclear weapon, OMG!!!!

I see a little inconsistency here. Both need to be controlled by us the effected.

I wonder if they would want one if Iraq hadn't been invaded?

I mean if your next door neighbors are victims of a violent home invasion, might you be looking to get yourself a gun?

I see only opening up these countries, Iran Cuba to the rest of the world as a good thing. What we been a doing sure has been productive right?

Time for a new way of dealing with issues. Lets hope it is given a chance.

I am trying to make up my mind on whether pissing off Bibi (Adelson puppet) or Iran flooding the market with enough cheap crude to make the (Coke Bros') Keystone pipeline an even bigger loser than it is now is the better of the two results of this mess.
There is no doubt in my mind these are why the republicans are so against it all.

The continuing decrease in defense spending is a sore topic with the GOP. As for shale oil, horizontal drilling and fracking, the selling point now is that natural gas can replace coal as energy source for power plants and for this to happen fracking and Keystone are essential. Of course, coal is a major source of pollution.

But wouldn't cheap imported oil serve us just as well and not damage the environment? Is there a real benefit between gas fired power plants vs. oil fired ones?

Fracking, yes. Keystone, no. It will transport tar sands crude, not gas.

Why choose? They're both pretty.

Plus a lot of Iranian crude on the market would screw with Putin too.
