Richard Cohen can turn a phrase, and he has penned (word processed?) a wicked description of where the GOP has taken itself. All he needs is some Eagles playing in the background: "Ooooh, witchy woman . . . "

Eugene Robinson's article today concerning Newt's hyperventilation over Sharia law in the US is a worthy read as well. As he notes, Newt is shrewd enough to know that, despite cries of unnecessary hysteria from the Left, this message plays well to his base.

Amazing, isn't it? I liked Becks explanation that CFL light bulbs are part of the plan to destroy American industry and drive the working class to it's knees. As if we aren't already on our knees and the "free market" as supported by both parties had nothing to do with it----It's the bulbs! That's what it is and it all started with Woodrow Wilson.........Koo Koo, Koo Koo.............
