I like it. Their cover of MJ's Billie Jean is chilling.

I saw them do that on TV, maybe Austin City Limits. It was indeed great.

Miles & Quincy at Montreaux
Ben Harper - Welcome to the Cruel World. I picked this up at a thrift. I had heard a lot of the material on live collections, but after listening to this, I really like the originals too.

Django Reinhardt The First of the QHCF Recordings 1934-1935 featuring Stephane Grappelly
Vol 1...I found 4 of the 5 volumes of this 5 cd box set of his recordings at this thrift store.....which also had a Webcor Mono reel to reel (tube) and a Webcor tube console...
Also picked a 4 CD collection imported from UK on Jasmine called The Golden Age of Jazz, and a 5CD set of Fats Waller called Hall of Fame....
all from the estate of man who loved Jazz he recently died.

Sounds like you scored some nice music. Did you get the console? What kind of tubes are in them?

They were asking $160 for the webcor reel....it was the mono one sort of art deco looking brown and it looked like it was in great shape...the console was good but the record player was beat up....it seemed not to have a tuner. They want way too much for the consoles they have....like $300. I did not even ask...I have a Maggie 175, Jolida 102b, and a 6BM8 Motorola console that I have not used in a while.
I did not even check what kind of tubes....this place is for profit not like the SA so I could not do the old lay on the floor and squint through the little holes in the back of the console thing...not that I do that alot
