'American'
Since when is 'American' the proper demonym for a resident of the USA? To me, an American is a Mexican, a Canadian, a Brazilian, a Chilean, a Peruvian, a Nicaraguan, and anyone else I have forgotten that resides in the American Continent. This ignorance just pisses me off. It's ancient to me. The USA is NOT the center of the earth!

Canadians live in Canada.
Brazilians live in Brazil.
Chileans live in Chile.
Peruvians live in Peru.
Nicaraguans live in Nicuaraga.
Americans live in the United States of America.

If we were called the United States of Blibityblop then we would be called Blipityblopians. But its not. And we are not. Deal with it.

Don't even try to tell us that if you to flew to America to meet a client that your ass would end up looking for a chauffeur in the baggage claim area of Mariscal Sucre International Airport.

America happens to be the country between Canada and Mexico. We are not the United States of North or South America. Now stop with the crap or you'll confuse the Panamanians.

Yep. If not "Americans", then what? "United Statesians"? Sounds kind of clumsy.
