It's very unlikely the anarchists voted for either - or any - candidate. That would be conceding a major point on their part. If you don't believe in government, why vote for government representatives?

But, if you pressed an anarchist to chose between a big government model and a small government model, which do you think he would be more likely to chose?

If pressed, the anarchist would try to overpower the oppressor - lash out rather then be forced to make a choice he doesn't want.

I think that if the only two choices he had were more or less government, he would always choose less government. Therefore, Anarchists are right wingers at the outermost extreme.

I will concede one point, however. I seem to recall, from reading "The Communist Manifesto" Anarchy being the ultimate goal of Communism.

Could it be that the spectrum is actually circular with centrism and anarchy being at opposite points? At the Centrist point we have balance, and at the Anarchist point, we have total chaos? Hmmmm......(OMG, now I'm begging to sound like Beck.)

Yeah the commies believed that once the workers paradise had come to fruition government would fade away. Silly imo.

I'd say if the anarchist was smart the GOP would be the logical vote, based on what the GOP says.

I have a hard time equating brains with no government though. There must be something at work there.

And we don't believe in NO government Beck. I mean Blue

Yes, silly. It assumes that the lessons of shared labor and resources, in time, would become ingrained in human nature. Human nature is not so easily molded. This is why I keep referring to it as "the one constant".

And that was my point.

Because you, and most Republicans I venture to say, are not at he same point in the spectrum as an Anarchist. Nowhere near it.

The error in communism and in some forms of socialism is that people could learn to love their neighbours - look what happened to the first one to suggest that idea.

Well said.

Blue, glad to hear you don't think I'm a closet anarchist. Now let's go bomb some post offices
