Sen. Dianne Feinstein will run for a sixth term.

84 year old Dianne Feinstein says she will run for a sixth term: There's still so much work to do.

Good. DiFi really gets under the skin of conservatives, I hope she has another two terms in her.

Gerontocracy is the normal for the senate. Senators take their Latin root - Senex - seriously.

What's the word on Vladdie's plans, tovarich? Is he going to change the Russian Federation's constitution so he can run again?

No need to change the constitution. He cannot run for three consecutive terms.

Vlad used a ploy by running Medvedev when he was faced with the three rule.

Back to Dianne. She should heed the call of the relatively young capable Democrats who are bubbling and ready.
Probably she is going for Strom Thurmond's record.

I don't trust the people of this country very much. They've proven to be lazy, self-absorbed and completely unfit to decide who should be involved in governance.

That said...I don't believe the government should be able to dictate who we can vote for in an election for any office.

Strom Thurmond holds the record, 1954 till end of 2002; 48 years.
So Fienstein is plying catchup.
Hillary may decide to run again too if this keeps up.
