Police are Going to Give Democrats a Strong Dose of Reality Very Soon
Article here: Police are Going to Give Democrats a Strong Dose of Reality Very Soon
Democrats have somehow been forced onto the wrong side of history because of the rioting - um, I mean "peaceful" protests - going on right now. But this is about to bite them in the butt regarding their convention. Apparently they want a world with fewer cops, so the cops, thanks to the D's tying their hands regarding how they can do their jobs there, have declined to participate.
An excerpt:
Quote:
The Democrats, and the left in general, are taking these people for granted. They’re even going so far as to turn on them. They forget that the safety and security that allows them to speak openly and without fear is upheld by real people and they’ve chosen to spit on them, abandon them, and harm them if possible.
Law enforcement agencies have every right to withdraw themselves from Democrat events, or even Democrat-run cities. It’s clear that if they do show up, they will be defending those who would throw them into very serious danger at the drop of a hat and leave them floundering alone if the mob should turn on them. If self-defense is used the Democrats will even help the mob punish them.
The individual people, the human beings that make up the police force, have little to no reason to put themselves into a position to help protect the people who won’t help protect them in return. Withdrawing from your post, or even if need be, your job at the department would be a much safer move. A move that wouldn’t leave that officer’s family with lawsuits, negative media attention, possible prison time, or worse, one less family member at all.
It started with police withdrawing from Atlanta, and now it’s the DNC, but if this trend of Democrats demanding police presence while simultaneously turning on them continues, the Democrats will soon see large swaths of the law enforcement community turning their back on them altogether.
When that happens, the Democrats can expect the monster they’ve been feeding to consume them and they’ll only have themselves to blame.

Opinions vary. Thanks so much for sharing yours (such that it is).
Or were you talking about the DNC? In which case, I apologize for my incorrect inference.

I don't do Apple products. Good retort, though.
This is an unretouched picture of me taken with my mom's basement web-cam.
