I was a republican for decades but in 1999 I saw the party hijacked by neocons so I moved to the Dem column on most votes.

In this day and age my views are are considered very liberal yet I am a hard ass in many ways which is more right leaning.

Kinda explains my situation. My disgust for the knuckleheads who have taken over the GOP is greater than my disgust for the Dem's. I just have a hard time identifying with a party whose luminaries include(d) Limbaugh, Hannity, Beck, Bachmann, Palin, Cheney, Rumsfeld, Dubya, Santorum, Trump, Demint, Sessions, Cantor, Christine O'Donnell, Sharon Angle.....

For the record, I voted for Dubya in 2000 and didn't realize the depth of my mistake until about 2003. It was downhill fast after that with regard to my support for the GOP. I also own about a dozen guns and have been an NRA Hunter Safety Instructor. Does this make me a liberal?

Ah but TD there are many meanings to the word, would you be happier if I said that I am right 99% of the time. I make to odd mistake just to let folks know I am human after all.
