This article says about 3/4 of the 'independents' are leaners; they have a party affiliation, it's just looser. So if you polled all the 'independents' you'd probably get something like the average of Democratic and Republican opinions, which would be around 33-34% thinking the economy good.

I feel we're on a tangent here. If Trump gets in and immediately invokes the Insurrection Act, it won't be 'the economy, stupid.'
