Whell, I'm glad you posted that. I also read it. They are indeed a pro Obama group, yet Obama and the democrats are precisely the people that have been in bed with finance. Once one looks at Dodd, Frank, Rubin, et al, or Obama's revolving door of Wall Street financial advisors, you realize that democrats have supported pro finance legislation for decades. The OWS are protesting the wrong folks if they are just simply upset at banking. The only reasonable reason for an attack on Wall Street, given how diverse investments there are, is if they are anti-capitalism and anti free trade.

The numbers respresented in the article show that these protesters lack any coherent message other than that they are pissed. That supposed manifesto is unworkable and is just long tired socialist utopianist propaganda. If their message becomes more widespread, I'd argue that they will lose some of the support that they currently have among the populace. Despite all the noise from the left, this country is still slightly center-right and they will not be convinced by this leftist movement.

Here's a take from the residents:

cf. http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/...rss=right-turn

Quote:
The reality of the OWS is not pretty. The Manhattan neighbors (hardly part of the right-wing conspiracy) are irate:

Infuriated lower Manhattan residents went ballistic on Zuccotti Park protesters at a chaotic Community Board 1 meeting tonight while blasting politicians for allowing the siege to continue without any end in sight.
“They are defecating on our doorsteps,” fumed Catherine Hughes, a member of Community Board 1 and a stay at home mom who has the misfortune of living one block from the chaos. “A lot of people are very frustrated. A lot of people are concerned about the safety of our kids.”
Fed up homeowners said that they’ve been subjected to insults and harassment as they trek to their jobs each morning. “The protesters taunt people who are on their way to work,” said James Fernandez, 51, whose apartment overlooks the park.

Would you like this to show up on your doorstep? I particularly liked the part where they are fighting amongst themselves.

Lets get real for a minute.
It's the Jews who have killed this country.
If you don't believe me, ask the protesters...
