Me thinks the term, "New Sheriff in Town" is starting to have new meaning with the cult.
The hoping to receive or in the want, expectation of a pardon is dwindling in their brainwashed minds.

The authorities will have an easy job of finding the perpetraitors and arresting them. Prosecution will be a slam dunk with all the postings and pictures along with the phone tracking capabilities.

I heard at least 3 different rioters at the Capitol say that they hoped to find Vice President Mike Pence and execute him by hanging him from a Capitol Hill tree as a traitor. It was a common line being repeated. Many more were just talking about how the VP should be executed.

There are multiple photographs of pro-Trump rioters carrying law enforcement-style flex-cuffs.

Rioters went looking for @VP, @SpeakerPelosi, @SenSchumer.

It raises the question of whether there was an organized plan to take hostages.

Hanging someone would have gotten them dead quick, but hostage taking might have gotten an indefinite delay in the certification process, and may well have been the plan.
