I'd agree to cut emissions when China actually cuts theirs. I think the treaty in question says that's 2030 or so?

Bank on Chinas' word?

I forget what the dates are, but it is five years past the date we're supposed to cut ours. I don't see how they're gonna do that because by then we will have no industry and be too poor to own cars, and thence no emissions , and they will have it all.

We shall see.

We have no need to cut anything, and China hasn't agreed to do much of anything. So why is this a news item?
