I just finished reading Rising Out Of Hatred.
It was a good book and demonstrates how Trumps rhetoric parallels the white nationalists goals and mindset. It was about Derrick Black, the son of Don Black and god son of David Duke. He grew up in that environment and when he became an adult and could think for himself, he denounced the rhetoric and the white nationalists.

 Great book. Details how Putin took the precepts of an earlier 20th Century Russian fascist and made it into his leadership philosophy and outlook on the world. Putin wants to hinder integration (the EU) since Russia cannot be integrated because it is not a democracy, and has weakened his country since now in Russia there is no succession principle for what comes next after Putin dies. Trump, like Putin, has used the fear of an outsider (brown people wanting to come to the United States in a menacing caravan) to get Americans riled up while at the same time stealing from them in the process by passing a tax give away that benefits his family and other billionaires. Like Putin, Trump doesn't care what happens in the future to his country. In Russia Putin replaces fear of immigrants with fear of EU (and integration in a prosperous economic community) as the main boogeyman while stealing from his nation.
